After we got back from London, we decided to celebrate our Anniversary in Siem Reap, Cambodia (also cause it was cheaper) lol
The very very very huge Angkor Wat temples
The temple tree
More temple trees
The piggies that roam freely around the temple home grounds
We stayed in a town near the Angkor Wat temples. The hotel was really old and creepy. Kinda like a scary 1950’s mansion.
We roamed around Pub Street and the Night Markets. Tuk tuks cost USD$2 per ride. Convenient and efficient. Unlike Malaysia lol.
The Street Market.
They’ve got great ice cream and yoghurt desserts
Love the khmer food. You can’t find these kinda food anywhere in the world. They are so underrated..
Spicy Khmer Soup
Salted Fish Minced Pork
Roasted Aubergine and Blanched Morning Glory
Stir fry Chilly cockles
Stir Fry Green Pepper Squid
Lucky Burger (Khmer Fast Food) Roasted Drummets
Khmer Tom Yum
We celebrated our anniversary dinner at The Khmer Touch Cuisine! Yums!
Pork Sour Soup
Lok Lak (beef)
Stir Fry Kale
On the second day, we decided to go for french food since Cambodia was heavily influenced by the French; we were expecting for some good ol’ cuisine française . The french restaurant we chose is called La Cabane La Cuisine des Filles (next to a Buddhist temple in town)
Sausages and salad (can’t remember the name lol) Not great!
Pork Chops (not too bad! slightly raw)
Last but not least… a picture of us in front of Angkor Wat!
